Bubista appointed as RS Berkane’s new head coach!

The Cape Verdean tactician is said to have signed a two-season deal with the Moroccan giants.

Bubista had, however, denied the rumours linking him to RS Berkane. Head coach of the Cape Verde national team, he had reaffirmed his commitment to the Blue Sharks.

But the situation appears to have changed in the space of just a few days. The 56-year-old manager is reported to have agreed to take the reins at RS Berkane.

According to African football insider Micky Jr, Bubista has signed a two-season contract with the Moroccan club. He thus becomes the new manager of RS Berkane.

The official announcement of his appointment is expected shortly. Bubista is set to begin a new chapter in his managerial career.

The 56-year-old coach made history as manager of the Cape Verde national team. He guided the Blue Sharks to their first-ever World Cup qualification and reached the knockout stages of the tournament, which was held this summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
