Four-time Formula 1 world champion, legendary French driver Alain Prost, has become the victim of a brazen and violent attack in his own home.
Details: According to Blick, the incident occurred in his luxury mansion in Switzerland. A group of armed, masked robbers stormed the famous racer's villa.
The criminals were after Prost’s lavish collection of exclusive wristwatches. Acting with extreme aggression, the assailants inflicted a head injury on the 71-year-old motorsport legend, then threatened violence and forced his son to open the family safe. After seizing the jewels and luxury watches, the suspects fled the scene and, according to police, sped off toward the French border.
Alain Prost, after receiving initial medical assistance, decided to leave Switzerland for safety reasons. It is reported that the celebrated driver has already flown to Dubai (UAE), where he plans to recover from the harrowing ordeal. Both Swiss and French police have launched a manhunt, but the perpetrators remain at large.
Reminder: Alex Marquez was hospitalized after a collision at the Catalan Grand Prix.
