Bruno Fernandes urges focus on Man United ahead of derby, not City’s struggles

Manchester City’s struggles, reflected in their recent poor results, are evident to all—except Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes. Ahead of the Manchester derby, the United captain evaluated the form of their cross-town rivals.

Details: The "Red Devils" skipper acknowledged that City might be facing issues, but he emphasized that Manchester United is also far from perfect. According to Fernandes, the team must concentrate on addressing their own shortcomings.

Quote: "Maybe they aren’t winning as often as everyone expects. But it doesn’t matter what pace they’re at right now. We need to think about ourselves, about what we can do to hurt them and win the game—that’s all.

We need to focus on ourselves because we’re not at the level we want to be. So, we can’t think about others’ success. We have to think only about ourselves and do the work we need to do to be in a better position. We need points in the league, so it doesn’t matter who we play against," Fernandes said.
