Manchester United secured a dramatic victory over Manchester City in the 16th round of the Premier League (2:1).
Joško Gvardiol opened the scoring for City in the first half, but that was arguably the only highlight for the visitors in a match to forget. United turned the game around in the final minutes of regular time, scoring twice to seal a memorable win at Old Trafford.
Beyond the goals and the final result, an incident in the first half drew significant attention. A heated exchange between Kyle Walker and Rasmus Højlund saw the City defender shove the United forward. During the verbal altercation, Walker theatrically fell to the ground after their heads made slight contact.
After the match, Højlund took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the moment, subtly suggesting that Walker's reaction warranted an Oscar for best acting performance.
"Manchester is red.
Violets are blue.
What a brilliant performance
But the Oscar goes to…" wrote Højlund, posting a photo of himself with Walker.
United legend Roy Keane didn’t hold back in his criticism of Walker’s actions, calling it embarrassing and stating the defender should feel ashamed.
