Baleba is not giving up on his dream of playing at Old Trafford.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba has been pushing hard for a move to Manchester United since last year and continues to actively pursue this option this summer.

However, the potential transfer has now hit a new snag. The Cameroonian midfielder’s recent injury has complicated the situation, although for now, it’s not expected to keep him sidelined for a lengthy period.

Earlier reports indicated Baleba suffered an ankle ligament injury during Brighton’s preseason preparations. His availability for the opening matches of the season is in doubt, but the club remains hopeful his recovery won’t be delayed.

Despite these circumstances, the 22-year-old remains steadfast in his desire—Baleba still wants to join Manchester United, no matter the obstacles.

It's worth noting that last season, Baleba made 31 Premier League appearances for Brighton.

Reminder: Not a good sign! Manchester United's top transfer target suffers injury.
