On 24 August, the second round of the English Premier League starts. The starting match of the tour will be held in Brighton between the eponymous team and Manchester United.

Both teams started the season with a victory, but if the ‘Mancuinans’ literally suffered a minimal victory over Fulham 1:0, then the ‘seagulls’ in the new Premier League campaign entered much more confidently, defeating Everton 3:0 away.

Unfavourable for the wards of Erik ten Hag and the last four matches with Brighton in the Premier League, where they lost all meetings. But that was when the Seagulls were managed by Graham Potter and Roberto De Zerbi.

Now Brighton will be writing a new history of confrontations with Manchester United, now under a new, young coach Fabian Hürzeler.

If we talk about line-ups, the German will definitely be without Solly March, Julio Enciso, Bart Verbruggen and Igor Julio, who continue to recover from injuries. Evan Ferguson, Pervis Estupinan and Tariq Lamptey took part in training and will be examined before kick-off.

Jakuba Minteh, who was substituted in the match against Everton due to a suspected concussion, will play against Manchester United.

While Valentin Barco is on the verge of a move to Sevilla, Brighton's £40million record signing Georginio Rutter is bidding to make his debut following his switch from Leeds on Tuesday, but he is likely to come on as a substitute while Joao Pedro will support ex-Man United striker Welbeck in attack.

As for the Red Devils, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Leni Yoro and Rasmus Højlund remain out of the squad, as does Victor Lindelöf, who has injured his toe.

The defensive line of Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire and Noussair Mazraoui performed well against Fulham, so ten Hag may try to keep it intact. But Matthijs de Ligt is knocking loudly for a place in the starting line-up.

Joshua Zirkzee, for his debut goal in Manchester United's win, could get game time from the first minute.

That means Bruno Fernandes will return to his favoured No.10 spot, with Mason Mount taking a place on the bench. Alejandro Garnacho, on the other hand, could take the field in place of Amad Diallo or Marcus Rashford on either flank.

Based on these factors, the Dailysports team has prepared predicted line-ups for the Brighton vs Manchester United match.
