The Senegalese international has signed for the Bees on a five-season contract with the option to extend for a further year.

Brentford have finalised the transfer of El Hadji Malick Diouf. The 21-year-old Senegalese defender has officially joined the Premier League club from West Ham.

El Hadji Malick Diouf is under contract with the Bees until 2031, with the option to extend for a further year. In confirming the transfer of the 21-year-old Senegalese player, Brentford did not disclose the transfer fee.

However, some sources suggest that the Bees paid 46 million euros to secure El Hadji Malick Diouf’s services. Upon signing his contract, the Senegalese international made no secret of his pride.

"I'm really happy, really happy to be here at this amazing club.

"I was looking forward to it. Now I'm here and I'm ready to give everything.

"I think they gave me a good plan. I spoke with the manager and he gave me a good plan for how I can develop, so I think it's a good place for me to be."

Last season, El Hadji Malick Diouf provided five assists for West Ham in the Premier League.
