Neymar's recovery is now expected to move at a much faster pace.

Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, 34-year-old Santos winger Neymar has undergone knee surgery to protect himself from a recurrence of a previous injury.

Reports indicate the procedure involved platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy—a regenerative treatment that uses the player's own blood to accelerate the healing of microtears and strengthen joint tissues.

Santos' head coach emphasized that Neymar is fully focused on making Brazil's World Cup squad:

"He's working hard on his recovery, doing two strength and speed sessions every day," said Cuca.
