The Formula 1 organizers have made a swift decision to alter the schedule for Sunday’s race in Miami.
Details: After emergency discussions between the FIA, F1 management, and local promoters, the race start has been officially moved to 1:00 PM local time (7:00 PM Central European Time). Previously, the race was scheduled to begin at 10:00 PM Central European Time.
The reason for these measures is an unfavorable meteorological forecast. According to meteorologists, heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon, coinciding almost exactly with the originally planned race start time.
To avoid a race cancellation or lengthy delays, organizers decided to start the action on track earlier, while weather conditions are still suitable for competition.
Reminder: Legendary Formula 1 driver Alex Zanardi has passed away.
