BREAKING! José Mourinho emerges as the leading candidate for Newcastle manager
The English Premier League is on the verge of witnessing the most sensational managerial shake-up of the year.
Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, José Mourinho has become the primary candidate to replace Eddie Howe at Newcastle. Amid the Magpies’ inconsistent results, the club’s management has begun actively exploring ways to strengthen the coaching staff, and the Portuguese manager now tops the owners’ shortlist.
Mourinho’s connection with Newcastle runs deep. The Portuguese coach has never hidden his affection for St James’ Park, largely due to his warm relationship with his mentor, Sir Bobby Robson, a true legend at the club.
"I have never hidden how much I care about Newcastle and how dear this club is to me," José declared in October last year.
It’s worth noting that Mourinho is currently in charge of Benfica, but his results there have been far from impressive.
Reminder: Newcastle has set its sights on a Brazilian wonderkid, a target also being tracked by Europe’s top clubs.
