Alarming news coming out of the Colombia national team camp.

Details: According to L'Equipe, 34-year-old attacking midfielder for Colombia and Minnesota, James Rodríguez, was urgently hospitalized the day after a friendly against France.

Reports indicate the player suddenly felt unwell, prompting an emergency call for an ambulance. At the hospital, after a thorough examination, doctors determined that Rodríguez's discomfort was caused by severe dehydration.

“Fortunately, the current medical report points to a positive outlook and steady improvement.

This situation is not related to musculoskeletal injuries or changes in his football activity,” commented the Colombian Football Federation.

Rodríguez's health is currently not under threat, but he will have to undergo further tests, and if any underlying issues are discovered, James could be forced to say goodbye to the World Cup before it even begins.

Reminder: James Rodríguez has shaken off ICE pressure and can now play for Minnesota
