One of England's key players will start in the World Cup semi-final.

Details: According to The Guardian, the midfielder will be in England’s starting lineup for the World Cup semi-final against Argentina, despite a recent illness. The player spent three days bedridden, but after the squad returned to their base in Kansas City, his condition improved significantly.

It is expected that Thomas Tuchel will once again trust Rice to anchor the midfield, where the Arsenal man will partner with Elliott Anderson.

In the quarter-final against Norway, Rice also started but was substituted at halftime. After the match, Tuchel revealed that Rice’s withdrawal was due to feeling unwell.

The England vs Argentina semi-final will take place on July 15 in Atlanta. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00 Central European Time.
