BREAKING! Dani Alves acquitted in sexual assault case
Former Barcelona and PSG defender Dani Alves was suspected in a sexual assault case but managed to avoid punishment.
Details: According to AS, the Brazilian footballer was acquitted. The court deemed the young woman's testimony insufficient for a guilty verdict.
It was previously reported that Dani Alves was convicted of rape and sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. In February 2024, the sentence was handed down, but later the Brazilian posted bail and was released.
Reminder: Pumas is demanding compensation of 5 million euros for breach of contract. The Mexican club terminated its agreement with Alves in January 2023 following his arrest on charges of rape.
Additionally, throughout his career, Alves has played for Sevilla, Barcelona, Juventus, PSG, and other clubs. He has 44 trophies to his name.
