On Wednesday, May 14, the Supreme Court of the Canary Islands completed its investigation and officially initiated criminal proceedings against the four individuals involved. This step has set the stage for the indictment process and the filing of a motion to commence a full court trial.

The incident traces back to Asensio’s time with Real’s youth team. During a holiday in the Canary Islands, his friends allegedly filmed a sexual encounter with two local girls without their consent.
