Breaking! Barcelona and PSG reach agreement on Ferran Torres transfer

Barcelona and PSG have reached a fundamental agreement over the transfer of Ferran Torres, with the deal valued at €50 million plus an additional €5 million in bonuses.

Details: According to Sport, the clubs are in the final stages of negotiations. The striker has already agreed to a five-year contract with PSG, as reported by L'Équipe, and in Paris he will reunite with Luis Enrique, under whom the Spaniard played for the national team.

Barcelona found themselves in a tight spot: Torres’ contract expires in the summer of 2027, and the player refused to extend, making this the last window to cash in on his sale. Hansi Flick’s side initially demanded more than €50 million, but eventually relented—Torres himself pushed for the move after publicly hinting he didn’t feel valued enough at the club.

Torres leaves Camp Nou at the peak of his powers: in the 2025/26 season, he finished as Barcelona’s top scorer in La Liga with 16 goals, helping the team clinch the league title. In July, he came off the bench in the World Cup final and scored the extra-time winner that handed Spain a 1-0 victory over Argentina. Transfermarkt values the 26-year-old Spaniard at €55 million, meaning PSG have pulled off the deal below market price.
