Brayan Leone promises more goals next season for Mamelodi Sundowns
Brayan Leone is confident he will have a much greater season for Mamelodi Sundowns next season.
The Columbian striker joined the Caf Champions League champions in January and he became an instant hit at the club.
Leone scored a massive 15 goals with some being against big PSL sides in Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
And now Leone has vowed what he did in the last six months could be far greater in a full season.
“Next season, I want to score more goals than I did this season,” he said. “If I scored 15 in half a season, I know I can do much better in a full one. And I want to help the team win more trophies. It is going to be an exciting season for us,” Leone said as per Mamelodi Sundowns Magazine.
Leone finished as the Betway Premiership third leading goalscorer with 10 goals, four behind Junior Dion, who has 14 goals.
It is next season when, perhaps, Leone could be the PSL's leading marksman.
