Last week, Spain was severely affected by Storm Dana, with Valencia suffering particularly extensive flood damage. The storm tragically claimed more than 200 lives, and one Spanish national team player traveled to the city to aid in relief efforts.
Details: Barcelona forward Ferran Torres, currently recovering from a thigh injury, flew to Valencia. The player did not announce his visit on social media, but a local resident shared a photo with Ferran, capturing his presence in the city.
Ferran Torres was born in the small town of Foios, located in the Valencia municipality. He began his football journey with Valencia CF before transferring to Manchester City in the summer of 2020 for €33.5 million.
Reminder: Due to the storm, two of Valencia's La Liga matches, against Real Madrid and Espanyol, were postponed. It remains unclear when these games will be rescheduled.
