Brandon Truter cites lapse in concentration and schoolboy mistakes as the reason Orlando Pirates beat them 3-0.

United lost their Betway Premiership match in Durban yesterday as the PSL defending champions displayed their excellence at Kings Park Stadium.

But the Chippa United coach said it was through their mistakes Pirates profited.

“It’s individual mistakes, things we can work out and rectify. But it’s a Chippa team that’s got so much to offer," said Truter after the game.

"It’s an ongoing process. Second half, we need to rectify and then after 50 minutes we managed to contain and not concede, but I think that’s the only chance they had in the box and then a mistake from Boy, unlike him and then from a set-play.

"The boys as well, just going forward – a bit of confidence more, we are getting there nicely so it’s about progression today so congratulations to Orlando Pirates."
