Borussia want to extend Schlotterbeck’s contract. However, the player is aware of Real Madrid’s interest

Nico Schlotterbeck has been delivering very consistent performances for Borussia Dortmund and has become one of the team’s leaders. The club want to keep him, but the player also has another option.

Details: According to Matteo Moretto, the German side are planning to extend the defender’s contract. His current deal runs until 2027, but the club want to secure a renewal already. However, Schlotterbeck is aware of Real Madrid’s interest.

Nico is now considering his next step and is intrigued by the interest from Real Madrid and the prospect of playing there.

In the current campaign, Schlotterbeck has made 27 appearances in all competitions for Borussia. He has also registered four goals and two assists.
