Feyenoord are not willing to let their player leave on a free transfer.

Details: According to respected journalist and insider Florian Plettenberg, Borussia Dortmund have shown serious interest in 24-year-old Feyenoord and Netherlands national team central midfielder Quinten Timber.

Reports indicate that the Black and Yellows are hoping to land Timber on a free transfer this coming summer, with his current contract set to expire in June 2026. However, the Dutch club are determined not to lose their midfield leader, especially for free, and are currently doing everything they can to secure a new deal with the player.

Timber joined Feyenoord from Utrecht in 2022 for €7.4 million. Since then, Quinten has featured in 119 matches, scoring 19 goals and providing 14 assists.

According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €30 million.
