Borussia Dortmund plans to sign Manchester City talent McAtee

Another young English midfielder could soon join Borussia Dortmund’s ranks.

Details: According to Florian Plettenberg, last season's Champions League finalists are looking to strengthen their midfield this winter, with Manchester City talent James McAtee identified as the priority target.

Dortmund is expected to propose a loan deal for McAtee with an option to buy in the summer.

McAtee himself is interested in the transfer, as he seeks more playing time.

This season, McAtee has appeared in only nine matches, scoring one goal.

Previously, the 22-year-old midfielder spent a loan spell at Sheffield United.
