Former Borussia Dortmund player Nuri Sahin is set to return to the club in the near future, according to Ruhr Nachrichten.

The 35-year-old former midfielder will become an assistant to the head coach, Edin Terzic. It is expected that he will join the team in the coming weeks.

Currently, Nuri Sahin is in charge of the Turkish Super Lig club Antalyaspor. Under his guidance, the team occupies the eighth position in the league standings.

As a player, Sahin played 274 matches for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 26 goals and providing 49 assists. In the 2010/11 season, Sahin became a champion in Germany.
