Borussia Dortmund has finalized Terzic's future at the club

Borussia Dortmund has made a decision regarding the future of head coach Edin Terzic at the club.

On December 21st, a meeting took place between the leadership of the Yellow-Blacks and Terzic, following which it was decided to continue their collaboration with the coach for the second half of the season, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, citing Bild.

Terzic has been at the helm of Borussia since 2022. Before that, he held the position of the club's sporting director and served as an assistant to the head coach. In the latter half of the 2020/21 season, he acted as the interim head coach of the Yellow-Blacks, leading them to victory in the German Cup.

In the current season, Borussia Dortmund has displayed less convincing results. The Yellow-Blacks entered the Bundesliga break in fifth place, trailing six points behind the Champions League qualification zone. In the German Cup, Dortmund's journey ended in the round of 16.

Earlier reports hinted at a conflict between Terzic and several players, notably suggesting strained relations between the coach and club legend Marco Reus.
