Borussia Dortmund legend and key player, Marco Reus, is reportedly in conflict with head coach Edin Terzić, according to Bild.
Sources indicate that Reus is among the players who have rallied against Terzić. It is emphasized that the two had a very good relationship in the past.
In the summer, Reus received a new contract with the support of Terzic, and at the beginning of the season, he reciprocated with strong and consistent performances. However, as Borussia Dortmund faced a crisis, Reus's productivity began to decline. One of the critical moments was Reus being substituted in the 58th minute against Augsburg (1:1). As he left the field, Reus shook Terzic's hand without even looking at him.
Considering Reus's behavior, Terzic decided to discipline him and left him on the bench for the match against Mainz (1:1). The captain of Borussia Dortmund did not appear on the field. Hans-Joachim Watzke and Sebastian Kehl will meet before Christmas to discuss how to resolve the conflict between the team and the coach.
It is worth noting that recently, Julian Brandt, Gregor Kobel, and Niklas Fuhrkroger have expressed negative opinions about Terzic's tactics.
