Borussia Dortmund continues negotiations with one of the Bundesliga's finest players, Stuttgart's forward, Serhou Guirassy, reports Fabrizio Romano.

The club has already held preliminary talks with the player and is seeking to progress further, aiming to reach an agreement with the leadership of the "Swabians."

Guirassy, much like Stuttgart, emerged as one of the Bundesliga's standout performers in the past season. The striker netted 28 goals, trailing only Harry Kane in the top scorer race.

The forward's estimated value on Transfermarkt stands at €40 million. His contract with the "Swabians" is still valid for another two years.

Moreover, Borussia hopes to resolve the contract situations of Jadon Sancho and Jan Maatssen. The "Yellow and Blacks" aim to retain the players for the upcoming season.

Borussia Dortmund secured fifth place in the Bundesliga. In the Champions League final, the "Yellow and Blacks" fell to Real Madrid (0-2).
