It looks like another super-fight is on the horizon for next year.

Details: The former two-time undisputed world heavyweight champion, 38-year-old Oleksandr Usyk, revealed in an interview with Boxing King Media that he plans to step into the ring for several more bouts. He's already called out one of his most coveted opponents — 40-year-old American Deontay Wilder.

"I want to keep fighting next year. I want to face Deontay Wilder. I think it's an exciting match-up. He (Wilder) is a world champion, a very famous guy, a powerful guy, and he's one of the greatest heavyweight fighters of the last ten years," Usyk said.

Previously, Wilder stated that he would be open to facing Usyk in the ring, considering him one of the greatest boxers in the history of the sport.

There have also been persistent rumors in the media about Usyk possibly meeting Fury for a trilogy, but the Ukrainian has instead chosen to challenge Wilder — one of Fury's toughest rivals.

Reminder: Harsh prediction: Itauma warned against fight with Usyk
