It is reported that Neuer has been included in the expanded 55-man list as one of five goalkeepers, from whom Nagelsmann will make his final selection.
This means that Neuer now has every chance to travel to the World Cup, at least as a backup goalkeeper, despite previously announcing his retirement from international football.
Currently, the German national team coaching staff is in talks with Neuer, hoping to convince him to return for the tournament.
