Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano, citing BILD, Munich’s Bayern has reached an agreement with the 40-year-old goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to extend his contract.
It is reported that the new deal will run until the summer of 2027 and is currently in its final stages, awaiting legal approval from both sides, after which the agreement will be announced officially.
Manuel Neuer joined Bayern back in 2011 from Schalke for €30 million. He has played 597 matches for Bayern, conceding 498 goals and keeping 269 clean sheets.
His current contract with the club expires at the end of the season, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €4 million.
