France and Morocco are facing off in the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and Les Bleus were handed a golden chance to take the lead, only for Kylian Mbappé to let it slip.
Details: Midway through the first half, France were awarded a penalty, with Kylian Mbappé stepping up to take the spot-kick. However, he was unable to beat Bono, as the Morocco goalkeeper produced an excellent save to deny the France forward.
Meanwhile, Morocco's Ayyoub Bouaddi has become the second-youngest player ever to feature in a FIFA World Cup quarter-final. He is currently 18 years and 280 days old.
Reminder: Lionel Messi recently set another unique FIFA World Cup record.
