Bologna is interested in Chelsea's central defender

The surprise team of last season's Serie A, Bologna, is interested in Chelsea's central defender Trevoh Chalobah.

According to *La Gazzetta dello Sport*, the Italian club is considering strengthening their squad ahead of the UEFA Champions League. Bologna is particularly keen on acquiring Chalobah on loan, despite the fact that the player had limited appearances last season, and his market value does not exceed €15 million.

In the 2023/24 season, Trevoh Chalobah made 17 appearances at the club level, scoring one goal. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €13 million.

It’s worth noting that Chelsea has made significant purchases during the summer transfer window, further inflating their already large squad. However, the club is now focused on trimming the roster to maintain balance.
