A wave of managerial changes is currently sweeping through Serie A, and one of them concerns Bologna FC 1909, who recently parted ways with their former head coach and are now searching for a replacement.
Details: According to Gianluca Di Marzio, former Belgium national football team manager Domenico Tedesco is being considered for the head coach position at Bologna. Continuous contacts between the two parties are ongoing, and he could take charge of the team in the near future.
Meanwhile, Bologna had also considered appointing Daniele De Rossi and Raffaele Palladino, but both coaches turned down the Italian club’s offer.
Tedesco was previously dismissed by Fenerbahçe SK. Earlier in his career, he managed Hoffenheim U-19, Erzgebirge Aue, FC Schalke 04, FC Spartak Moscow, RB Leipzig and the Belgium national team.
Reminder: 54-year-old Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino has decided to step down as head coach of the United States men's national soccer team after the World Cup and could take charge of a Serie A side.
