Famous promoter Bob Arum answered the question whether a fight between IBF lightweight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) and WBC champion Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) is possible.

"Shakur will be a free agent after the fight on July 6. At that particular moment, we need to know what his plans are before we can voice our intentions to him because we may not be his promoters.

If he re-signs his contract, we do have some very interesting fights for him. But I won't go into details because he'll be a free agent after July 6. He's been a great fighter for us, we've enjoyed promoting his career, and we'll see what happens next,” Arum said.

Shakur will fight Artem Harutyunyan (12-1, 7 KOs) on July 6.

Earlier Bob Arum told about the future plans of undefeated Japanese champion Naoya Inoue.
