The Manchester City management is looking far into the future.
Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Florian Plettenberg on his X social media page, Manchester City are preparing to sign 16-year-old German wonderkid Kenneth Eichhorn from Hertha.
Reports suggest the Citizens are ready to meet the demands of both the player and Hertha. Once the deal is finalized, Eichhorn will immediately be loaned out to Bayer Leverkusen, where he’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable experience at the highest level.
However, Bayern Munich are throwing a wrench in City’s plans and are also trying to secure the services of this rising German football star. RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund are also reportedly interested in Eichhorn.
Kenneth Eichhorn is a Hertha academy product, and if he leaves the club this summer, it will mark the first transfer of his career.
This season, Eichhorn has made 19 appearances for Hertha and scored 2 goals. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 20 million euros.
