Nicolas Jackson could be set to continue his career in the Spanish top flight.

Details: According to insider Nicolò Schira, active negotiations are ongoing in London between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea regarding the 25-year-old Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson. The Madrid side are aiming to secure the forward on loan until June 2027.

The talks are progressing smoothly, with an option to buy the player expected to be included in the deal. Atletico head coach Diego Simeone is eager to strengthen his attacking line with the Senegalese's versatility and pace.

It’s worth noting that Jackson has been a Chelsea player since 2023, but spent last season on loan at German giants Bayern Munich. In the 2025/26 campaign, the striker played 34 matches across all competitions for the Munich side, netting 11 goals. Jackson’s current contract with the Blues runs until summer 2033, while respected portal Transfermarkt values him at €40 million.
