I could have stayed and earned my salary for the final year of my contract at Juventus, but I believe in personal relationships, and the club showed me a lot of respect. I also believe in karma. Now, I will spend the last year of my career at Barcelona, and this will be the biggest challenge I've ever taken on. The universe rewarded me for respecting Juventus," Szczęsny told Sport.
