Despite the UEFA Champions League registration period having long passed, Barcelona managed to make a significant change to their squad for the tournament.
Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona has added their new goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczęsny, to their Champions League roster.
The Catalan club removed their primary goalkeeper, Marc-André ter Stegen, from the squad by invoking a special UEFA regulation that allows for a goalkeeper substitution in case of a season-ending injury.
Szczęsny joined Barcelona as a free agent and had not been registered for European competition with any other club.
