Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC signs Richards Bay captain Tlakusani Mthethwa
Mthethwa is a midfield strongman with an eye for goal
Tlakusani Mthethwa has joined Stellenbosch FC from Richards Bay as a free agent.
Mthethwa, a former Moroka Swalllows and Richards Bay FC midfielder, has been on Gavin Hunt's radar for sometime and the coach would be pleased with the signing.
“Mthethwa, who most recently captained Richards Bay FC, has joined Stellenbosch FC on a long-term contract ahead of the 2026-27 season,” said Stellies in a statement.
"The 33-year-old also previously played for Moroka Swallows and boasts more than 100 career Betway Premiership appearances to his name.
“We are pleased to welcome Tlakusani to Stellenbosch and believe he brings a valuable blend of quality, leadership, and experience to our squad."
