Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC complete signing of former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns players

George Matlou and Terrence Mashego have completed moves to Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC.

Matlou joins from Kaizer Chiefs while Mashego joins from Mamelodi Sundowns via Durban City.

While Matlou joins Stellies as a free agent after being released by Chiefs, Mashego joins on loan from the Caf Champions League champions.

The two players join the Cape Winelands side armed with loads of experience in topflight football which is something coach Gavin Hunt is known to be fond of.

Matlou had his Chiefs stay punctuated by injury which made it hard to have his chance of contract renewal to take place.

But Mashego, who recently won the Nedbank Cup with Durban City, as one of the experienced players joins Stellies on loan as it seems that Sundowns are reluctant to have him back as yet.
