Betway Premiership side Marumo Gallants announces new coach as Jamil Benouahi replaces Alexandre Lafitte to help move the team away from the drop zone
Jamil Benouahi has replaced Alexandre Lafitte as Marumo Gallants coach.
The Moroccan replaces the Frenchman following the suspension of Lafitte from his duties at the Betway Premiership side.
Lafitte was suspended following the team’s poor run in the PSL which saw them dwindle to the 14th spot in the standings.
But now the Moroccan takes over with the mission being to move the team upward on the standings.
“The club is confident that Benouahi's expertise, leadership and fresh perspective will contribute positively to the team's performance as Marumo Gallants continues its campaign for the remainder of the season,” reads a Marumo Gallant statement.
