Betway Premiership side Durban City part ways with coach Sinethemba Badela just after three games at the helm
Sinethemba Badela has left Durban City.
The former Chippa United coach joined City at the start of the year having been let go by Chippa three games into the current season.
He had replaced Gavin Hunt at the Durban club and it was expected that this time Badela would be allowed to fully express his philosophy as he had failed to do so at Chippa.
But this afternoon, a statement from the club confirmed he has been let go.
This is just after the club defeated his former team, Chippa United, in the Nedbank Cup last-32 tie on Friday night.
“Thank you, Coach Badela. Durban City FC confirms that the Club has parted ways with Head Coach Sinethemba Badela by mutual agreement,” the club said via a statement.
“We appreciate his service and wish him every success moving forward.”
