Betway Premiership champions discard Bandile Shandu close to signing a deal with Durban City
Durban City are closing in on Betway Premiership champions discarded defender Bandile Shandu.
City are now under former Kaizer Chiefs coach Ben Youssef Khalil and are looking at bringing the best available talent to their base.
Also in line to join City is former Chiefs striker Tashreeq Morris.
Morris has been also a player of interest for Durban City as Khalil bolsters the side which will also be participating in the Caf Confederation Cup this season.
Shandu's experience will come in handy for the Kwa-Zulu Natal side given his time with Pirates which saw him play in continental competitions.
It will be not the first time Shandu plays under a team chaired by Farouk Kadodia as he rose to prominence in the local game through Kadodia's Maritzburg United.
And now the return is mooted and and announcement is imminent.
