Betway Premiership champions Orlando Pirates confirm three signings

Betway Premiership defending champions Orlando Pirates have confirmed three players to their ranks.

Pirates are looking at ensuring the talent in their ranks is awash as the Caf Champions League and the defence of the Betway Premiership title need them to have a bigger squad.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is delighted to announce the acquisition of Neo Rapoo, Aphiwe Baliti and Matome Mmolai ahead of the 2026/27 season,” said the club.

"The three players join the Buccaneers as the Club continues to strengthen the squad and invest in some of the country’s most promising talent.”

The 230-year-old Mmolai joins Abdeslam Ouaddou's side from National First Division club Leicesterford City and he is described as a midfield dynamo while Rapoo and Baliti join from Siwelele FC.

However, Baliti will spend the coming season on loan to Siwelele FC.
