Betis close to signing Fabio Silva from Borussia Dortmund

Details: According to renowned and reputable journalist and insider Sacha Tavolieri on his social network X page, 23-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker Fabio Silva is on the verge of joining Spanish side Betis on loan.

It is reported that Betis are already in direct talks with Borussia Dortmund over Silva, while another contender for the Portuguese, Roma, has shown little to no activity in the race.

Betis are looking to sign Silva on loan with an option to buy, but Dortmund remain skeptical about letting Silva go permanently and are only willing to agree to a loan deal.

The player himself has already given preliminary consent to the move to Betis, as he is very attracted to La Liga and the project being developed at Betis.

Fabio Silva moved to Borussia Dortmund this summer from Wolverhampton for €23 million, but has failed to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup, playing just 15 matches with 1 goal and 3 assists to his name.

According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €28 million.
