Love conquers all! Karim Adeyemi wants to leave Borussia Dortmund because of his girlfriend

Borussia Dortmund may be on the verge of losing its young midfielder.

Details: According to BILD, 23-year-old right winger Karim Adeyemi has informed the club of his intention to leave and join a team based in a major European city.

The motivation behind this decision isn’t football-related but stems from matters of the heart: Adeyemi’s girlfriend, Loredana Zefi, has expressed her desire to live in a big European metropolis rather than Dortmund.

Following this, Adeyemi switched agents and began to renegotiate his contract with Dortmund, hoping to find a loophole that would allow him to leave the club as early as this winter.

Media reports have previously linked Premier League giants like Arsenal and Manchester United with a strong interest in Adeyemi.

Adeyemi joined Borussia Dortmund in 2022 from Salzburg for €30 million. He has made 128 appearances for the "Black and Yellows," scoring 32 goals and providing 22 assists. His current contract runs until 2027, and his market value is estimated at €60 million by Transfermarkt.
