‘Best match of my life’. Alisson commented on the game against PSG

In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, Liverpool defeated PSG 1-0, with goalkeeper Alisson Becker emerging as the standout performer. The Brazilian shot-stopper has now shared his emotions about the match.

Notably, as reported by Opta, Alisson made nine saves—a record for a Liverpool goalkeeper in a Champions League match since the 2003/04 season. Moreover, this is the highest number of saves he has ever made in a single game.
The Brazilian also prevented 0.87 expected goals (xG) against him, making several crucial stops. Four of his nine saves came from shots inside the penalty area, underlining his decisive impact on the outcome.
Reminder: Bayern Munich's main goalkeeper Manuel Neuer suffered an injury in the 56th minute of the match. The legendary goalkeeper could not continue, and 21-year-old Jonas Urbig took his place on the field.
