The striker of Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, Karim Benzema, may continue his career in the English Premier League.

The services of the stellar forward have captured the interest of Manchester United, as reported by Transfer News Live, citing Spanish journalist Javier Parra Penu from Fichajes.

According to sources, the Manchester-based club is contemplating the possibility of securing the French forward on loan until the conclusion of the current season.

It was previously revealed that Benzema would not accompany Al-Ittihad on their tour to Dubai, as he failed to join the team for the preseason training within the stipulated timeframe.

Benzema joined the club from Jeddah in the summer of 2023 as a free agent. The 36-year-old Frenchman inked a contract until June 2026. In the current season, the striker has featured in twenty matches for Al-Ittihad, netting twelve goals and providing five assists.

Earlier reports indicated that Benzema might make a return to his hometown Lyon, with the transfer potentially materializing at the end of the season.
