Karim Benzema will not travel with the team on the Dubai tour. What is the reason?

The former forward of Real Madrid, now a player at Al-Ittihad, Karim Benzema, is encountering challenges in his new club.

According to reports from Marca, the Frenchman failed to attend Al-Ittihad's pre-season training camp and, as directed by the coach, will not participate in the upcoming tour that the team will embark on this Sunday.

Benzema, like other team members, was supposed to report to the club's base in Jeddah on Friday, January 12, a requirement he allegedly did not fulfill.

Consequently, coach Marcelo Gallardo has chosen not to make concessions and has not included Karim in the trip to Dubai.

Sources indicate that Benzema had previously missed Al-Ittihad's training sessions three times at the end of the past year, not waiting for the official break before the Christmas holidays.

Due to these incidents, Gallardo decided not to invite Karim on the tour to Dubai, and the team will be there without the star French forward.

In the current season, Karim Benzema has participated in twenty matches for Al-Ittihad, scoring fifteen goals and providing six assists.
