Ben Youssef Khalil is a happy man.
The former Kaizer Chiefs coach guided Durban City to the Caf Confederation Cup in their maiden participation after winning last season's Nedbank Cup.
Khalil's City won the two-legged tie against Burundian side Ruzinko 3-1.
We’re pleased to be through, but that’s what we expected from ourselves. Now we have to recover, get back home and prepare for the next challenges” said Khalil to his club media.
“For the club, this is a new experience. We’re learning with every game and every round, and it’s important that we keep improving as we go along."
This Thursday they face Orlando Pirates in a PSL match.
