The UEFA Euro 2024 match between Belgium and Slovakia will take place on 17 June.

Both teams are just starting their journey at the European Championship, but Group E is already underway, as Romania and Ukraine will face each other.

Red Devils head coach Domenico Tedesco is somewhat faced with personnel problems. Centre-backs Jan Vertonghen and Arthur Theate may be absent from the starting line-up, while Thomas Meunier will definitely miss the game against Slovakia, having suffered a muscle injury during the recent 3-0 win over Luxembourg.

Tedesco's vis-a-vis Francesco Calzona may only have problems with the kit of some players. Juraj Kucka, who has recently suffered an injury, may have some difficulties, but overall the midfielder should be ready to face Belgium.

Calzona assessed his opponent today as follows:

"We know they are favourites. It's true that Belgium are good on the counter-attack, but we have our own strengths - we can press high up the pitch, but we need to do it well. It's not just Belgium's counter-attacks that worry me, but all their qualities."
