Bayern's CEO did not directly answer a question about the purchase of Bayer's leader
Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen avoided giving a direct answer about the potential signing of Bayer Leverkusen's star defender Jonathan Tah.
At the start of the summer transfer window, the defender was named as one of Munich's priority targets.
"It is inappropriate to discuss names in this transfer window, and I don't want to do so today, a day before the transfer window closes. That would be wrong. It would be inappropriate to comment on this," Dreesen said.
Earlier, it was reported that Barcelona had entered the race for Tah. Barcelona has already begun negotiations with the player's representatives and made contact with Bayer regarding a possible deal before the end of the summer transfer window.
It was also previously reported that the "Pharmacists" center-back wants to leave the club. The German defender has made it clear to the management that he will not renew his contract.
